Bookends Epoxy Preserved Flowers
This item is custom-made, and we cannot guarantee the use of every individual flower provided. This mold has a pour depth of about 3" inches, and if a flower's thickness exceeds this limit we may need to flatten it or utilize only its petals to accommodate the mold. We'll provide a design preview once your flowers have dried that you will approve before we permanently set your design.
Please be aware that not all types flowers dry effectively, and certain colors may undergo changes during the drying process. For example, red roses might turn to a burgundy hue, white roses may adopt a cream tint, and bush roses may turn more yellow upon drying. Many tropical and thin flowers do not dry as well and may have a brown tint. Succulents do not dry well and cannot be used in resin pieces.
Although Frolic Flowers uses professional quality, UV protected resin, all resin has inherent properties that cannot be avoided. Resin pieces may display imperfections like small bubbles or thin lines on the sides where pours are made. Some flowers may have transparent spots known as 'bruising' that appear on petals after the resin is poured. Over time, all resin slowly develops an amber tint, especially with prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat.
To ensure the longevity of your forever piece, follow the simple aftercare guidance below:
- Avoid Direct Sunlight and Heat: Prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat may cause the resin to amber over time. Keep your keepsake in a shaded area away from direct sunlight and any sources of heat.
- Cleaning Instructions: To clean, simply use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may damage your keepsake.
- For Coasters and Trays: Please refrain from placing hot items hot mugs directly on coasters or trays. Additionally, avoid placing candles on these surfaces to prevent heat damage.
